The Kamloops Community Band is presenting a free concert in the Riverside Park bandshell on Sunday, June 17 at 2:30 pm. Bring your lawn chairs and a picnic basket, and enjoy a wide variety of music styles and genres, including traditional British wind band favourites, jazz tunes, folk songs, movie music, and everything in between!
The band has been invited to perform with the Sidney Concert Band in Sidney, BC, as part of the Sea Festival. Thanks to the support of the City of Kamloops opening up the bandshell, this performance in Riverside Park presents KCB with a magnificent opportunity to practice performing in an outdoor setting before representing Kamloops the following weekend in Sidney.
